Bits and Pieces

What a hot muggy day its been, I want the rain back. Well was getting the car window fixed today but they got sent the wrong part so now it will be tomrrow afternoon, what a pain. Steven has been very busy drawing some mazes, and they have so much detail to them.

This is my favourite one which is a puzzle piece maze, very creative

The boys love the new ice cream cones I got them. Its motivation to eat their dinner and they they get a ice cream and get to choose what colour cone they want....best thing it worked they both ate all their dinner tonight no fuss at all.....AMAZING!!

See, I thought it was MORE humid yesterday when it was raining! Today was glorious and I think the sun has burned off some of that mugginess. But yes, we could still do with a bit more rain for the old water tank ;-)

Steven is very creative indeed! Those mazes are really cool!!

Isn't it funny what appeals to kids - do they get the ice cream as well or just the cone!!! LOL.

He's really thought about that maze hasn't he? Very cool. Aaron really likes making them up too.

Funny thing Liam really wanted a yellow and he ate all his dinner even peas which he hates and then got his yellow cone and ice cream and he had bout 5 bites of it and then didnt want the rest, lol.

Well Stevne and his mazes, it looks like it would take some time to do this maze but he sits down and just draws and its done within minutes. And its not jsut one or two there is a whole book of them at least 30 so far and each of them very different. its his thing at the moment that and his wordsearch puzzle books

Very creative, long may it continue.

And if choosing a bright coloured ice cream cone as a treat encourages the boys to eat their tea, go for it.

Yes I figure a little icecream at night not going to hurt if it means they will eat their dinner. I think though Liam will get bored with it fast so i will ahve to find hims something different
