Steven meets Cody

Since it has taken Steven 9 months to notice that Aunty Tanya had a baby in her tummy and then Im not sure that he really believed us when we told him there is a baby in there. Well today was the first time Steven met Cody. I was giving Cody a cuddle and then Steven asked if he could have a cuddle. Steven also today got a certificate today at the school assembly......he ran up to get it and stood there very proud infront over everyone, then jumped with excitment wheneveryone clapped for him and the other kids. Certificate was for focused reading, writing and swimming. He is doing so well at school, and the swimming which last year was such a big step to get him into the pool and now this year he jsut loves it jumps in with all the other kids and has so much fun

LETTING GO

To let go doesn't mean to stop caring;
It means I can't do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off...
It's the realization that I can't control another...
To let go is not to enable,
but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To let go is to admit powerlessness,
which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To let go is not to try and change or blame another,
I can only change myself.
To let go is not to care for, but to care about.
To let go is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To let go is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being.
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes,
but to allow others to affect their own outcomes.
To let go is not to be protective,
It is to permit another to face reality.
To let go is not to deny, but to accept.
To let go is not to nag, scold, or argue,
but to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.
To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires,
but to take each day as it comes and cherish the moment.
To let go is not to criticize and regulate anyone,
but to try to become what I dream I can be.
To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.
To let go is to fear less and love more.

Creating a blog

Well I have decided to create a blog, and hopefully meet some new people. My name is Ali and Im a mum of 2 boys and a scrapbooker. I have not done much in the way of scrapbooking in last few months but Im starting to get back into it now. Im a simple page scrapbooker, nice simple clean lines and get it done sort of person, I dont spend too much time on the one layout. I have started to go beyond the page too which has been alot of fun. My boys, my biggest passion - I love them to bits, love spending time with them and everything about them. I will try and post often but no promises. I will stay happy and positive, posting my scrapbooking layouts and my joys with my boys- Steven and Liam
